Whether you are sailing with Color Line or Fjordline to Norway or Smyril Line to the Faroe Islands or Iceland, Hotel Hirtshals and Hotel Seafront are extremely well located.
Distance to Color Line is approx. 600 meters and distance to Smyril and Fjordline line is approx. 3.3 km on foot, we provide transport between the hotel and the ferries.
Hotel Hirtshals has a long history behind it. Hirtshals Kro was founded in 1769, where the place originally functioned as ship provisions.
Today you can still experience the old inn, where the original interior and style are preserved in the protected building.
The inn has over the years been expanded with two hotel buildings – Hotel Hirtshals and Seafront Hotel, where there are a total of 40 rooms. In almost all rooms you have a view of the town square, harbor entrance and the sea.
Whether you are looking for accommodation, want to visit our old historic pub with its homemade and home-roasted bjesk, eat in our historic inn or want a look from our roof terrace with its impressive views of the sea, harbor and beach, you are very welcome.
The hotel also has a large ballroom where we provide settings for weddings, confirmations, courses, conferences and other events.
